Terms & Conditions

Last updated: May 20, 2026

1. About us

Forward Thinking ("Service") is operated by Jet Black Holding Group LLC("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you ("user", "you") agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Forward Thinking is a journaling and goal-setting product that uses AI to generate reflections, affirmations and suggested next steps based on your entries. Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and are not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial or mental-health advice.

3. Your account

You must be old enough to enter a contract in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it current.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service unlawfully or for fraud, spam, or harassment;
  • infringe the intellectual-property or privacy rights of others;
  • upload malware, probe, scrape or interfere with our security;
  • generate illegal content, hate speech, deepfakes, or attempt to jailbreak the AI;
  • reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the Service or its outputs in violation of these Terms.

You are responsible for the prompts you submit, the use you make of outputs, the accuracy of those outputs, and that you have the rights to any content you input.

5. Intellectual property

We retain all rights, title and interest in the Service, including software, design, documentation and branding. You retain ownership of your journal entries and other content you submit; you grant us a limited license to host and process that content solely to provide the Service.

6. Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment terms, billing frequency, taxes, cancellations and refunds are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.

7. Service availability

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free. We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for: material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, we may delete your data after a reasonable export window.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the Service is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, special or incidental damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where such exclusion is not permitted by law.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
